Yesterday (see below) I showed how to make a Veggie Hotdog,
here is the first part of serving it...

Veggie Hotdog for Lucy

I thought it would be fun to try to make a Veggie Hotdog for Lucy:

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

You'll need the following:

Slice of the end of a bread
1 Carot
Slice of Gouda cheese
Pair of scissors
Knife

Use pair of scissors to cut an oval shape out of bread.

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

Use knife to cut out a "V" shape in soft side of bread.

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

Like this!

This will hold the 'Hotdog' in position.

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

Take a cut from the carrot, a bit bigger than your freshly made Hotdog-bun.

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

Size the carrot until it looks proportional.

Where's the mustard?

(Please don't feed your hamster real Mustard!
Your hamster will die from it!)

A hamster will eat anything you give it,
(Please) Be responsible (!), only feed your hamster hamster safe food!

When in doubt (if it's hamster safe), then don't feed it !

Ofcourse I wouldn't feed a hamster real mustard, therefore this replacement:

Cookin' Veggie Hotdogs for my hamster Lucy.

Cut a 'wavy' shape out of a slice of cheese.

Be carefull with this step!!!

Ask parental guidence if you're younger than 39!

Don't handle a knife like in the picture!!!
This picture was shot for clearity.

Result could look something like this.

Finish of by making a "M" or "W" like shape...

Place on top of the Veggie Hotdog:

Yesterday evening I went to our annual office Xmas-dinner.
There I recieved a Xmas-gift...

Quality time with Lucy

When Lucy is on the couch with me, she rarely sits still.

Lucy keeps on investigating the couch while trying to score a few touchdowns along the way.
(A Lucy Touchdown is made when Lucy successfully climbs on the armrests or back of the couch)

Lucy tried to climb the armrest, when I put my hand under her.
Normally I scoop her up (gently) and put her back on the couch again.
This time I didn't I just left my hand there...

Lucy responed by having a nice sitdown on my hand while looking over the armrest!

After a minute I gently stroke her back, while sharing the latest HamsterTracker™-gossips.

We sat like this for quite a long time! I am guessing a solid 5, 6, 7 or 10 minutes...
Unfortunately I didn't record time or make a photograph of this.

Lucy's way of letting me know

Lately, after Lucy ran around the livingroom in her Explorer Ball,
we are spending more and more time on the couch.
There Lucy can run around freely, and it's a lot of fun.

(Although I need to keep an eye on her all times!)

I have been spending more time with Lucy on the couch.
There she can run freely, and try to score a Lucy Touchdown.
(Then she tries to climb to the top of the couch)

Although I am pretty confident that Lucy will not jump off, I am very alert!

These last few days I've been stretching the amount of time spent on the couch.

It's fun to observe Lucy gaining confidence; she even tried to score a Lucy Touchdown via me!
