Lucy's Bedroom Clean Adventure ...
As expressed previously ( see below ), Lucy is getting a bit older and slower.
Therefore we are keen on proper bedroom hygene !


Once again, it was time;
So after making preperations (second Bedroom),
we had to wake Lucy, to make the switch ...

Lucy's not running much ...
Regular visitors may have noticed that Lucy's milage is ...
... simply is ... not increasing.


Having checked the HamsterTracker™-Hardware over and over;
we came to conclude it's not the Hardware.


Lucy is simply getting so big,
while dieting (apple instead of Pine-Seeds) etc,
for over six weeks now,
it is not really helping.


Lucy probably doesn't fit in her treadmill comfortably anymore.
This is probably why she doesn't make much progress on her milage.


Oke, she is over two years of age (average is approx. 2.5 years),
so she should be treated as an elder.
This aging probably contributes to not much running,
which contributes to getting a bit bigger like a continious cycle.


This next photo-shoot,
(using a tea-towel as a background, to change things),
we did notice Lucy's huge-ness...

as well as a Toilet-Paper-Roll (= TP-Roll)...

Lucy's Cage Cleanup (again)
Lucy needed a bedroom clean,
as well as a general Cage-Clean:

I transferred Lucy's bedroom (with Lucy in it),
to the 'emergency' box,
which holds a huge pile of wood shavings.
(I also tossed in some Pine-Seeds)

Lucy's Demanding
( First of all: Sorry for the infrequent updates.
There's a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes of HamsterTracker™.
Sooo much that we had to choose on Updating slash Taking care of Lucy.
Ofcourse the 'Taking care of Lucy' won !
We are working hard on updating on our regular- slash and known-base as soon as possible !!
Having said (all) that,
here's todays experience... )


Lucy doesn't really like her new diet;


she misses her Peanuts and Pine-seeds ...

We're cutting down on to one Peanut, just once a week ...
fortunately this is the time of the week !

Lucy's Food Analytics
( Today's title is catchy isn't it? )


Remember our concern on Lucy's weight, just 16 days ago?
Lucy then had a solid body mass of 200 grams / 0.441 lb .
After feeding her small apple slices and Parsley,
instead of Peanuts and Pine-Seeds...

It did reduce Lucy's body mass by 19 grams /0.042 lb.


We are still keeping a close eye on Lucy's diet though,
simply by examining what Lucy left over in her food bowl:

We think that Lucy missed those four seeds
(at 6 o'clock/south in the photograph below).
