New HamsterTracker™ Website Gadget

I've been working on this little gem on and off for these last couple of months.
It involved learning PHP and refreshing my knowledge on SQL.

In non geek terms; It took a while to program and implement.

It's possible you've already have seen it or used it;

Officially introducin' the HamsterTracker™-Polls:

This last week I've been testing on functionality, ease of use, browser compatibility, internet-bandwith usage etc...
And the tests (finally) all pass!

Background info on HamsterTracker™-poll

The system stores the vote in a database.
When you click on the 'Vote' button after selecting the option of your choice;
the correspoding number (of the chosen option) is submitted to the HamsterTracker™-database.
The voting system uses Cookies to not allow more than one vote a day.

No personal information is recorded in the HamsterTracker™-database!
Allowing you an anonymous (quick) vote.

After experimenting with the first poll, the results are very encouraging!!

The birth time was on Tuesday morning from midnight to around 4am as I can guestimate.
When I came home from work around 1am she had given birth to 2 pups already
and in the morning my wife Yoly noticed there were 3 of them.
We are very happy that Kiry is finally a mother,
since we’ve been trying to breed them for 3 months now.
I guess that’ll make me a grampa?
